Joseph Gusdin
Joseph Gusdin was (still is...) my maternal grandfather.
He passed away at the age of 81, one year after his one and only beloved wife Judith.
I was 13 years old then, and if there are few memories that are still fresh with me, one of them is the strong smell of oil paints and the sight of the tremendous amount of framed paintings hanging side by side on the walls, hardly spaced out and over each and every avalilable corner at my grandpas' special old "mansion".

My grandfather started painting without any formal or informal artistic education, apart from what he learned from magazines.
His son Raphael was also very talented. Misfortuned Raphael was killed serving the Israeli army and he was only 18 years old.
This talent was carried on through the genes of my mother to me.
With no doubt this is continuing to be passed over to my 2 young boys who are very promising artists to be ..
As an act of respect I decided to add my late grandfather Joseph Gusdin to my web site.
I am honored to have this opportunity and I will try to collect as many images of his works and as much information as possible to be added to these pages.
